Two or three hours mostly on your feet on hard ground. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness.

Markets, lanes and places of worship are where people live and pray. Ask before photographing anyone and cover up where others do.

Tamil Nadu & Puducherry done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought. Solid operator.

Questions people ask

Only with a pass booked at the visitor centre at least a day ahead, and there are a limited number daily. It is for silent concentration, not sightseeing, and it is left out of the price for that reason.
