Cuba runs on cash, foreign cards mostly do not work, and internet is bought by the hour on a card. The briefing on day one is genuinely necessary.

“Latin America by public bus, the way most people actually do it”
Overland routes on scheduled buses and public ferries. Slower, cheaper, and closer to how the continent moves.
Well paced over 7 days with enough free time to not feel herded.
Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. Worth every rupee.
Too much time on the coach and not enough at the places we'd come for. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
Well paced over 7 days with enough free time to not feel herded. The cooking was a genuine surprise — better than most places we'd have picked ourselves. Good value for what's included.
