You will be in cold water for hours
Wetsuit thickness is the difference between a good day and shivering through the last three drops. Ask what is provided and how it fits.
Jumps are optional, the descent is not
Every jump has a walk-around or an abseil beside it. Once you are in the canyon, though, the only way out is down it.
Water levels decide the route
A canyon that is a walk in October is unrunnable after rain. Operators cancel for flow, and that call is not negotiable.
Tell them if you cannot swim
Most canyons need only floating in a buoyancy aid, but the guide has to know before the first pool, not at it.

Early starts, but that's where the wildlife is. Well run. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down.

Maharashtra was quieter than I expected and the camp was comfortable. Hostel nights are basic but clean, and that's what the price says. Crew were professional without being stiff about it. Solid operator.

Questions people ask

For this trip, yes and only. The waterfalls are dry from November and the gorges have no water in them. The whole product exists because of the rain.
