“Self-guided European walking with route notes and luggage transfer”
Route notes, GPX and a van that moves your bag. No leader on the hill, which suits some people and not others.
Did this over 8 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Tents were warmer than expected and the camp was set up before we arrived. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought.
Thanks for writing this up. We've passed your note to the team.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Plenty to eat and they were happy to work around a gluten allergy. No hesitation recommending them.
Thank you for travelling with us — glad the route worked out.
Did this over 8 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. The campsites were well chosen — sheltered, and close enough to water. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
North-west Ireland in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Tents were warmer than expected and the camp was set up before we arrived. Never went hungry, and the tea appeared exactly when it was needed.
Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.
Did this over 8 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Good value for what's included.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. The cooking was a genuine surprise — better than most places we'd have picked ourselves. Worth every rupee.
Did this over 8 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. Would book with them again.
Emptier and wetter. Dingle and the Burren take most of Ireland's visitors; Donegal takes a fraction and the roads show it. If you want music and villages, Dingle. If you want cliffs and bog with nobody on them, this.
