BEFORE YOU GO · CAUTIONARY DETAILS
Grades do not transfer between crags
A 5.8 in one place is a 5.10 in another. Ask what the routes actually are rather than what they are graded.
Bring your own shoes if you have them
Rental shoes are sized for durability, not for edging. If you climb at all, yours will make the day better.
Belaying is a licence, not a favour
If you have not been checked out on a belay device, you do not hold the rope. The instructor will.
Rock quality changes after rain
Sandstone in particular is weaker wet and stays weak for a day or two after. Operators move venue for this.

Well paced over 7 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Hostel nights are basic but clean, and that's what the price says. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down. Would send friends their way.

Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.

Everything was arranged properly — transfers, entries, all of it. Dorms were tidy and the common areas were where the group actually gelled. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Worth every rupee.

Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. Hostel nights are basic but clean, and that's what the price says. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it. Worth every rupee.

Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.

Karnataka done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Good value for what's included.

Well paced over 7 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones.

Hotels were a step below what I expected for the price. Crew were professional without being stiff about it.

Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.

Questions people ask

No. Bouldering is the easiest discipline to start in because there is no rope work to learn. What you do have to learn on the first morning is how to fall and how to spot someone else, and neither operator lets anyone onto a highball before that.
