The cable car shuts for wind at short notice — the "tablecloth" cloud is exactly that warning. Going at eight is the best odds you get.

Western Cape done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Would book with them again.

Southern right whales are at Hermanus from about June to November, peaking in September and October. Outside that window the cliff path is still a good walk and there are no whales in it.
