Well paced over 6 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude.

Ile-de-France done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Accommodation was a notch better than the price suggested. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing. Recommended.

Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. No complaints about any of the hotels — all of them well placed. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Good value for what's included.

Questions people ask

Eiffel summit slots release about sixty days ahead and go quickly; the Louvre and Versailles are timed and sell out in season. Notre-Dame reopened in December 2024 with free but timed entry. Prebooking is the main thing an operator does here.
