Two or three hours mostly on your feet on hard ground. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness.

Well paced over 8 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Accommodation was a notch better than the price suggested. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude. Solid operator.

Questions people ask

Minke, fin and humpback come into the estuary roughly May to October, with August and September the most reliable. The belugas are resident year-round but are endangered and protected — boats must not approach them, so seeing one is luck rather than itinerary.
