Two or three hours mostly on your feet on hard ground. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness.

Markets, lanes and places of worship are where people live and pray. Ask before photographing anyone and cover up where others do.

Barcelona & Costa Brava done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Solid operator.

Questions people ask

Sagrada Familia tower slots go two to four weeks ahead in season and Park Guell is capped by half-hour entry. Both are named tickets checked against ID. Turning up at the door does not work between April and October.
