Tallinn Retreat

7 days, planned by Cypress & Stone
Seven days in Estonia rather than a night of it — a medieval old town, a bog boardwalk, and an island with its own dialect.

“Walking in Europe with the timed tickets booked at release”
A walking operator whose main skill is administrative: Alhambra slots, Sagrada tickets and hut beds, booked the day they open.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Accommodation was a notch better than the price suggested. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought. Good value for what's included.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. No complaints about any of the hotels — all of them well placed. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones. No hesitation recommending them.
Estonia in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought. Good value for what's included.

Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Did this over 7 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Good value for what's included.

Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.

It is a small country and this is a slow trip — that is the point. The Baltic capitals tour gives Tallinn a night and a half. If you want three countries in a week, take that one; this one goes to the bog and the island instead.
