“Self-guided European walking with route notes and luggage transfer”
Route notes, GPX and a van that moves your bag. No leader on the hill, which suits some people and not others.
Pace was set for the fastest people in the group and it made the middle days hard. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
Did this over 8 days and it was the best walking I've done in years.

Ionian coast in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Worth every rupee.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Would book with them again.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Sleeping under canvas at that height is cold work and the kit was up to it.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones. Would book with them again.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. Good value for what's included.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. The campsites were well chosen — sheltered, and close enough to water. Crew were professional without being stiff about it. Would send friends their way.
Probably not, and that is deliberate. The baptistery floor is kept buried under sand for most of the year because exposure damages it — it is uncovered rarely and briefly. The site is worth the visit regardless; the mosaic is not something any operator can promise.
