Six days on the island, not the beach. Six days with the summit permit secured, a parador night in the caldera and guided walks in the laurel forest.
La Laguna's unfortified grid plan was the template exported to colonial cities across Latin America, which is why it is a UNESCO site.

Did this over 6 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Rooms were basic in the best way — dry, warm, and right where we needed them. Crew were professional without being stiff about it.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Every night's lodge was a step up from what I'd braced for. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing. Solid operator.
Thank you for travelling with us — glad the route worked out.

Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. No hesitation recommending them.

Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Every night's lodge was a step up from what I'd braced for. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down. Solid operator.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Worth every rupee.
Pace was set for the fastest people in the group and it made the middle days hard.
