Lake Pichola Mount AbuDilwara is marble carved so thin it is translucent, built between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries. MehrangarhMehrangarh stands 120 m above the town on a sheer scarp and the blue houses below it were Brahmin quarters. Jaswant ThadaMehrangarh is still owned by the family that built it and the museum inside it is unusually good. Thar desertJaisalmer fort is one of very few anywhere that people still live inside, which is both its charm and its drainage problem.
