Check the altitude before you book the flight
Leh is at 3,500 m and you arrive there by aeroplane in an hour from sea level, which is the fastest ascent most people will ever make. Two full days doing nothing on arrival is the standard advice and it is not optional because you are on holiday rather than a trek.

Everything was arranged properly — transfers, entries, all of it. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down. Would send friends their way.

Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. Hotels were clean and central, which saved a lot of time. Never went hungry, and the tea appeared exactly when it was needed. No hesitation recommending them.
