“Arctic and sub-Arctic, with the cold-weather kit provided”
A polar operator that issues the outer layers because the kit most visitors arrive with is not adequate, and pretending otherwise gets people hurt.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Worth every rupee.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Plenty to eat and they were happy to work around a gluten allergy. Solid operator.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Hotels were clean and central, which saved a lot of time. Crew were professional without being stiff about it. Solid operator.
Long transfer at both ends that isn't obvious from the listing. Budget a day either side.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
The trek itself is good but the group was too large for the trail on the summit day.
Thanks for writing this up. We've passed your note to the team.
Did this over 6 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.

At Ilulissat the sun does not set from late May to late July. In September it sets and the aurora becomes possible instead. Both are good and they do not overlap.
