Río de la Plata done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Dorms were tidy and the common areas were where the group actually gelled. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude. Would book with them again.

Because Punta del Este is where Argentina goes on holiday in January and prices roughly double while everything fills. November and March have the same weather and none of that.
