“The same Himalayan routes in dorm tents and shared transport”
The budget half of the same market. Dorm tents, shared jeeps and no porters unless you hire one — and the same leaders on the hill.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Tents were warmer than expected and the camp was set up before we arrived. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude. Solid operator.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. The campsites were well chosen — sheltered, and close enough to water. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing. No hesitation recommending them.
Did this over 4 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Sleeping under canvas at that height is cold work and the kit was up to it. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. No hesitation recommending them.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb.
Pace was set for the fastest people in the group and it made the middle days hard. Crew were professional without being stiff about it.
Thank you for travelling with us — glad the route worked out.

Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Himachal Pradesh in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Solid operator.
Do not touch the villagers, their houses or the temple; buy nothing without being invited to; photograph people only with permission. The village enforces these itself and fines are levied. It is their place, not a set.
