Two or three hours mostly on your feet on hard ground. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness.

Markets, lanes and places of worship are where people live and pray. Ask before photographing anyone and cover up where others do.

Adriatic coast done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Hostel nights are basic but clean, and that's what the price says. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it. Good value for what's included.

Montenegro is not in Schengen but admits holders of a valid multi-entry Schengen visa. Croatia is in Schengen. Make sure yours is multi-entry or the Kotor day does not work.
