“The same routes by train and guesthouse”
Overnight trains, guesthouses and no private cars. Slower and a fraction of the price, and the trains are half the point.
Did this over 7 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Would send friends their way.
The trek itself is good but the group was too large for the trail on the summit day.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. The campsites were well chosen — sheltered, and close enough to water. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down. Would book with them again.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Plenty to eat and they were happy to work around a gluten allergy. Worth every rupee.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Tents were warmer than expected and the camp was set up before we arrived.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it. Solid operator.
Did this over 7 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. The cooking was a genuine surprise — better than most places we'd have picked ourselves. Would send friends their way.

Thanks for writing this up. We've passed your note to the team.
Minus fifteen in the day and minus twenty-five at night at Kaza in January. Homestays are heated with Bukhari stoves and are genuinely warm; outdoors is not, and standing at the bottom of an ice route belaying is the coldest you will be.
