Trainers slip through a stirrup and shorts will rub raw inside a mile.

Most falls from a standing horse are from head height onto stone. Wear what you are given.

You must be able to walk, trot and canter confidently in open country and be comfortable for four to five hours in the saddle. This is not a place to learn — the assessment ride on day one is real and people are moved to the vehicle.
