Four days of rock-cut caves out of Aurangabad. The same two sites on the MTDC coach in a standard hotel, with audio guides rather than a licensed guide.
Bibi ka Maqbara was built by Aurangzeb's son in imitation of the Taj, on about a twentieth of the budget, and the difference shows in an interesting way.

Too much time on the coach and not enough at the places we'd come for. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down.

Maharashtra done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones. No hesitation recommending them.

Everything was arranged properly — transfers, entries, all of it. Dorms were tidy and the common areas were where the group actually gelled. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it. No hesitation recommending them.
