The Benini is the gentle end of the Bocchette system and it is where the guides find out who is comfortable with exposure and who is not.

Once you are in the huts you stay in them — the Bocchette is a high traverse and coming down each night is not practical.

The route follows ledges blasted into the face with ladders between them, several hundred metres above the valley for most of the day. It is the reason people come.

“Self-guided European walking with route notes and luggage transfer”
Route notes, GPX and a van that moves your bag. No leader on the hill, which suits some people and not others.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Would book with them again.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Sleeping under canvas at that height is cold work and the kit was up to it. Never went hungry, and the tea appeared exactly when it was needed. Would send friends their way.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
Long transfer at both ends that isn't obvious from the listing. Budget a day either side. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing.

Pace was set for the fastest people in the group and it made the middle days hard. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Tents were warmer than expected and the camp was set up before we arrived. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing. Good value for what's included.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Tents were warmer than expected and the camp was set up before we arrived. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Would send friends their way.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. The cooking was a genuine surprise — better than most places we'd have picked ourselves. No hesitation recommending them.
Did this over 6 days and it was the best walking I've done in years.
No, but you need a head for heights that you have actually tested. Via ferrata is not technically difficult — you clip a lanyard to a cable and walk — and it is relentlessly exposed. Day two is graded easy precisely so people find out on a short route rather than halfway across the Centrali.
