Two or three hours mostly on your feet on hard ground. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness.
The route is public space
Markets, lanes and places of worship are where people live and pray. Ask before photographing anyone and cover up where others do.

Too much time on the coach and not enough at the places we'd come for. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down.

Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. No complaints about any of the hotels — all of them well placed. Plenty to eat and they were happy to work around a gluten allergy.

Questions people ask

Yes, and it is the main reason this is six days rather than five. Sunrise and late afternoon are genuinely different buildings — the marble is translucent and takes colour from the sky. Midday is the worst of both.
