BEFORE YOU GO · CAUTIONARY DETAILS
Dive within your certification
A card states a depth and a set of conditions. Going beyond either on holiday, with an instructor who has known you for an hour, is how divers get hurt.
Never hold your breath
The first rule of breathing compressed air, and the one that kills people who forget it. Breathe continuously on every ascent.
No flying for at least eighteen hours
After multiple dives, longer. Book the flight home with a clear day in between, not the same evening.
Touch nothing
Coral takes decades to grow and breaks in a moment, and a great deal of what looks inert is alive. Buoyancy control is not just a skill, it is how you avoid destroying what you came to see.

Boat was crowded. Fine for the diving, less fine for the surface intervals.

Visibility was excellent and the boat ran on time every morning. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude. Would book with them again.

Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.

Kit was in good condition, which matters more than people realise. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude. Solid operator.

Kit was in good condition, which matters more than people realise. Hostel nights are basic but clean, and that's what the price says.

Kit was in good condition, which matters more than people realise. Dorms were tidy and the common areas were where the group actually gelled. Recommended.

Questions people ask

January to March carries real cyclone risk and the heaviest rain, which is why departures run May to December. The cooler winter months from June are the driest and calmest.
