Two or three hours mostly on your feet on hard ground. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness.

Markets, lanes and places of worship are where people live and pray. Ask before photographing anyone and cover up where others do.

Andhra Pradesh done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought. Worth every rupee.

Questions people ask

Basic. Gandikota has a Haritha guesthouse and a handful of rooms in the village and that is it; Belum and Ahobilam are similar. This is not a region with a hospitality industry, and both operators are clear about that rather than dressing it up. If you want comfort, this is the wrong trip.
