“Self-guided European walking with route notes and luggage transfer”
Route notes, GPX and a van that moves your bag. No leader on the hill, which suits some people and not others.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. No hesitation recommending them.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Sleeping under canvas at that height is cold work and the kit was up to it. Solid operator.
Did this over 6 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Recommended.

Long transfer at both ends that isn't obvious from the listing. Budget a day either side. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down.
Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.

Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Tents were warmer than expected and the camp was set up before we arrived. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones. Solid operator.
Thank you for travelling with us — glad the route worked out.
No. The GR20 is fifteen days across the spine of the island and is widely called the hardest waymarked trek in Europe. This trip walks two day sections in the same mountains and sleeps in beds.
