“The same Himalayan routes in dorm tents and shared transport”
The budget half of the same market. Dorm tents, shared jeeps and no porters unless you hire one — and the same leaders on the hill.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Would book with them again.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Sleeping under canvas at that height is cold work and the kit was up to it. Plenty to eat and they were happy to work around a gluten allergy.
Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. The cooking was a genuine surprise — better than most places we'd have picked ourselves. Solid operator.
Nagaland in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. Crew were professional without being stiff about it.

Did this over 4 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down. Good value for what's included.

June to September, and it grows nowhere else in the world. That is also the monsoon, so the season that has the lily has the rain and the leeches. October and November are drier, clearer and lily-free.
