“Himalayan trekking with a fixed guide ratio and no offloading surcharge”
Started by two IMF-qualified leaders who were tired of watching groups of thirty share one guide. Ratios are written into the price and are not negotiable downward.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Would book with them again.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. No complaints about any of the hotels — all of them well placed. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it. Would book with them again.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Accommodation was a notch better than the price suggested. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down. Would book with them again.
Ladakh in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing.
Did this over 7 days and it was the best walking I've done in years.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Would send friends their way.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Recommended.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. No complaints about any of the hotels — all of them well placed. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones. Worth every rupee.
Knee to thigh deep on the Skiu–Markha day, and they rise through the afternoon as the glaciers melt. That day starts at 7:30 for exactly that reason. Carry sandals you can walk in.
