There is a line in the pavement on Ferhadija marked "Sarajevo — meeting of cultures". Ottoman on one side, Austro-Hungarian on the other, and you can see both from it.

“Long-haul group trips for people with two weeks and no plan”
Hotels were a step below what I expected for the price. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones.
Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.
Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Worth every rupee.

Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Well paced over 5 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Hostel nights are basic but clean, and that's what the price says. Simple food, well made, and enough of it.
Everything was arranged properly — transfers, entries, all of it. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. No hesitation recommending them.

Thank you for travelling with us — glad the route worked out.
Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. Dorms were tidy and the common areas were where the group actually gelled. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing. Would send friends their way.
Thanks for writing this up. We've passed your note to the team.

Yes, and the country actively wants visitors to. The Tunnel museum and the war museums are run by people who were there, and the guides are direct about what happened. Treating it as a memorial rather than a curiosity is what is asked.
