DapoliBetween the ferries the road runs on a cliff above the sea for most of the way, and there is almost no traffic on it. RatnagiriTarkarli is where the water finally goes clear, and Sindhudurg fort sits on a rock off the beach. VengurlaThe Terekhol crossing into Goa is the end of the ride and Fontainhas is a good place to finish it. FontainhasDabolim is forty-five minutes from Panjim, and Madgaon station rather less.

Machines were well maintained and the daily briefings were short and useful. Lodges along the way were simple and comfortable enough after a long day. Plenty to eat and they were happy to work around a gluten allergy. Would book with them again.
