“The same Himalayan routes in dorm tents and shared transport”
The budget half of the same market. Dorm tents, shared jeeps and no porters unless you hire one — and the same leaders on the hill.
Uttarakhand in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Good value for what's included.
Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought. Good value for what's included.
Did this over 6 days and it was the best walking I've done in years.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Solid operator.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Good value for what's included.
Uttarakhand in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. Good value for what's included.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. The campsites were well chosen — sheltered, and close enough to water. Recommended.
It is one of the gentlest multi-day treks in Garhwal — a river valley with moderate gradients and a maximum of 3,566 m at camp. Operators here take walkers from about ten years old upward.
