Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought.

Questions people ask

No. Vlad Tepes may have passed through and was possibly briefly imprisoned nearby, but he never held it. Bram Stoker never visited Romania at all. Poenari, further south, is the fortress Vlad actually used.
