Six days from the westernmost point of Africa to the delta. The same route in shared sept-place taxis, which is how Senegal travels, in guesthouses.

Goree is a memorial and its scale is disputed by historians — the island handled far fewer people than the mainland forts. It remains the emotional centre of the commemoration.

Day 5
5 breakfasts and 4 dinners across 6 days, at camp. It opens with dinner on day 1 and closes with breakfast on day 6.
9 meal services named in the itinerary. Vegetarian and vegan covered; Jain, gluten-free and allergies on notice at booking
Excellent sightings and the guides clearly knew the area. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought. Solid operator.
Dakar to the Saloum was quieter than I expected and the camp was comfortable. Plenty to eat and they were happy to work around a gluten allergy. No hesitation recommending them.
Early starts, but that's where the wildlife is. Well run. No hesitation recommending them.
Sightings were thin on our dates, which is luck, but the drives felt rushed. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.

Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.
