“Self-guided European walking with route notes and luggage transfer”
Route notes, GPX and a van that moves your bag. No leader on the hill, which suits some people and not others.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. The campsites were well chosen — sheltered, and close enough to water. Simple food, well made, and enough of it.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Julian Alps in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Solid operator.
Well organised from the pickup onwards. The daily distances were honest about what they'd be. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude.
Thanks for writing this up. We've passed your note to the team.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening. Would book with them again.
Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.

Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. The campsites were well chosen — sheltered, and close enough to water. Good value for what's included.
In July and August, yes — the lake circuit becomes a queue. May, June and September are the same lake with a fraction of the coaches, and the Ojstrica viewpoint at eight in the morning is empty in any month.
