Markets, lanes and places of worship are where people live and pray. Ask before photographing anyone and cover up where others do.

Stockholm & the archipelago done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Never went hungry, and the tea appeared exactly when it was needed. No hesitation recommending them.

Questions people ask

Yes. Day trips reach the inner islands; the outer ones like Sandhamn need a night, and the difference between the two is considerable. The last ferry back is early.
