Seven days in winter Ladakh, two full days on the ridges. The same park with one full spotting day and a shared spotter, on larger groups.
Leh in January runs to −20 °C at night. Most guesthouses shut; the ones that stay open have Bukhari stoves and thick walls.

Excellent sightings and the guides clearly knew the area. Worth every rupee.
Ladakh was quieter than I expected and the camp was comfortable. Dorms were tidy and the common areas were where the group actually gelled. Would book with them again.
Excellent sightings and the guides clearly knew the area. Crew were professional without being stiff about it. Good value for what's included.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
Excellent sightings and the guides clearly knew the area. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. The cooking was a genuine surprise — better than most places we'd have picked ourselves. Good value for what's included.

Thank you. We've taken the point about the transfer and are reviewing it.

Early starts, but that's where the wildlife is. Well run. Hostel nights are basic but clean, and that's what the price says. No hesitation recommending them.
