The textbook acclimatisation day: 4,630 m at lunch, 3,960 m at night. It feels like wasted altitude and it is the reason people summit.

The wall is the only place on the route where you use your hands. It is not technical and it is not for anyone badly afraid of exposure.

Kilimanjaro in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Would book with them again.
Kilimanjaro in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. Would send friends their way.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Sleeping under canvas at that height is cold work and the kit was up to it. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it. Good value for what's included.
Long transfer at both ends that isn't obvious from the listing. Budget a day either side. Guides answered every question, including the daft ones.
Thank you for travelling with us — glad the route worked out.
Pace was set for the fastest people in the group and it made the middle days hard. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.

Kilimanjaro in the right season is something else, and the team knew exactly where to camp. No hesitation recommending them.
On the seven-day Machame it runs around eight in ten; on six days it drops to roughly six. The extra night at Karanga is the single biggest factor and it is the difference between the two operators here.
