Two or three hours mostly on your feet on hard ground. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness.
The route is public space
Markets, lanes and places of worship are where people live and pray. Ask before photographing anyone and cover up where others do.

Well paced over 4 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Dorms were tidy and the common areas were where the group actually gelled. Crew were professional without being stiff about it. Would book with them again.

West Bengal done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Nothing fancy about the beds, and nothing wrong with them either. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing. Worth every rupee.

Questions people ask

In October, November and April, most mornings. In the monsoon, almost never. Tiger Hill takes several hundred vehicles on a clear morning in season, which is why the 4 AM start is not optional.
