“Long-haul group trips for people with two weeks and no plan”
Western Thailand done well. The itinerary had room to breathe. Every night's lodge was a step up from what I'd braced for. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down. Would send friends their way.
Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. Every night's lodge was a step up from what I'd braced for. The team read the group well and adjusted without making a thing of it.
Thank you for travelling with us — glad the route worked out.
Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. No hesitation recommending them.
Well paced over 4 days with enough free time to not feel herded.
Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found. The teahouses were warm and the beds were fine after eight hours walking. Crew were professional without being stiff about it. Would send friends their way.
Well paced over 4 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Food was plentiful and hot, which counts for a lot at altitude. Solid operator.
Well paced over 4 days with enough free time to not feel herded. Meals were good throughout and the vegetarian options weren't an afterthought. Worth every rupee.
Hotels were a step below what I expected for the price. Crew were professional without being stiff about it.
Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Kanchanaburi has several and many involve riding, bathing shows or chained animals. Neither operator includes one. If you want to see elephants responsibly in Thailand, the observation-only sanctuaries near Chiang Mai are the honest option.
