“Walking in Europe with the timed tickets booked at release”
A walking operator whose main skill is administrative: Alhambra slots, Sagrada tickets and hut beds, booked the day they open.
Everything was arranged properly — transfers, entries, all of it. Rooms were comfortable and the locations meant we could walk most evenings. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Would send friends their way.
Hotels were a step below what I expected for the price. The lead was calm and knew when to slow the group down.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another trip.
Good mix of the obvious things and a few places we'd never have found.
It depends entirely on Etna. In a quiet period, guided groups reach about 2,900 to 3,000 m. During an eruptive phase the summit zone closes and you see the Silvestri craters at 1,900 m instead. No operator overrides that.
