“The same routes by train and guesthouse”
Overnight trains, guesthouses and no private cars. Slower and a fraction of the price, and the trains are half the point.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Camp was pitched and the kitchen going by the time we walked in each evening.
Did this over 7 days and it was the best walking I've done in years. Recommended.
The route is beautiful and the pacing was sensible — nobody was rushed on the climb. Sleeping under canvas at that height is cold work and the kit was up to it. Whoever planned the days knew what they were doing. No hesitation recommending them.

Appreciate the honest feedback; we're looking at the pacing on that section.
Second trek with this operator and they've kept the standard up. Simple food, well made, and enough of it. Would book with them again.

You will very likely hear them — the dawn call carries a long way and it is why the walk starts at six. Seeing one is less certain; there are only around sixty in Lawachara and they stay high. Nobody promises a sighting.
