What the course actually is

A full beginner progression on one of the few Indian mountains with the vertical to teach it properly. Small groups, a dedicated learning area for the first two days, then the gondola once you can stop and turn on demand.

Requirements & eligibility

Age: 8 and over
  • Able to walk for an hour on uneven ground without difficulty
  • Warm layers rated for −10 °C
  • Valid ID for the Gulmarg gondola pass

Cancellation

Full refund up to 21 days before the start. 50% between 21 and 7 days. No refund inside 7 days.

Weather

Gulmarg closes lifts for wind and low visibility more often than for snow. Days lost to lift closure are added to the end of your course where the calendar allows, or refunded pro rata where it does not.
